Our Story
Our museum is dedicated to preserving the history of River Hebert, Nova Scotia and the surrounding areas through artistically made 1/12 scale models.
All of our models were meticulously made by the late Reginald 'Bud' Johnston. Originally he displayed our collection on his front lawn before moving to our permeant location in 1993.
Our Role in the Community
We pride ourselves on offering a safe, inclusive space where all members of the community can come together no matter age, background, or way of life. Our doors are always open to everyone.
The Rise of Miniatures
In recent years the world seems to be obsessed with miniatures and we're so fortunate to have jumped on the trend before it took over the world.
Bud's miniatures are unique in the sense that he used everyday items and reimagined them, proving that one man's trash can be another man's miniature kitchen table.
